Friday Night Matchups
Week 2 opens with a busy Friday slate featuring five nationally televised games. Richmond visits N.C. State at 7:00 p.m. ET on ESPNU with Jay Alter and Tom Luginbill on the call. Louisville, ranked No. 24, hosts Villanova at the same time on ACCN, while No. 25 Virginia meets Norfolk State on ACCN Extra. The noon slate is stacked with ranked teams and major conference clashes. Arizona State meets No. 10 Texas A&M on ABC, while No. 11 Oklahoma travels to Michigan on FOX with Gus Johnson and Joel Klatt. No. 6 Oregon visits Oklahoma State on ESPN, and No. 16 Penn State heads to Temple on ESPN2.
The window also includes Washington State at Kansas State on TNT, Wake Forest at Purdue on FS1, Appalachian State at East Carolina on ESPNU, Howard at No. 5 Indiana on BTN, and South Florida at Army on CBSSN. Multiple ACC and Group of Five matchups round out a noon block that spans nearly every major network.
Saturday Afternoon and 3:30 p.m. Window
The 3:30 p.m. ET window is one of the deepest of the season. No. 12 Alabama visits Kentucky on ABC, Arizona travels to No. 15 BYU on FOX, and Mississippi State meets Minnesota on CBS. NBC carries Rice at No. 3 Notre Dame, while ESPN2 features UCF at Pittsburgh.
BTN splits its feeds for Utah State at No. 19 Washington and Eastern Michigan at Michigan State. ACCN airs California at Syracuse, and CBSSN carries Maryland at Connecticut. ESPN+ hosts a long list of regional and FCS matchups, including Weber State at Colorado, ULM at UAB, and Wagner at James Madison.
UNLV at North Texas on ESPNU and UC Davis at No. 17 SMU on ACCN Extra close out the mid‑afternoon slate.
Saturday Evening and Primetime
The evening window begins at 6:00 p.m. ET with Memphis at Boise State on USA and continues with multiple ESPN+ games. At 7:00 p.m. ET, No. 18 Tennessee visits Georgia Tech on ESPN, Bowling Green meets Nebraska on FS1, and Southern Utah faces Colorado State on CBSSN.
The 7:30 p.m. ET block is headlined by No. 1 Ohio State at No. 4 Texas on ABC with Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit.
