The Very Group has appointed Beckie Crane-Stanion as its new marketing director “as the business enters the next phase of its brand journey and looks to further increase reach while growing the Very brand”.

The company owns the Very webstore as well as the legacy Littlewoods business and said Crane-Stanion joins from Abbott Lyon, where she was consultant global brand director and led the brand’s “evolution from a jewellery label into a global lifestyle and gifting destination”.
She also previously led the marketing department at Frasers and has experience in agencies working with UEFA, The FA and the NFL.
Her new job will see her leading the brand, creative and marketing strategy, overseeing customer engagement across key channels and teams spanning brand, marketing and HelloStudio.
The company hailed her “transformational experience in brand and retail” and said her experience spans “fashion, sport and beauty and she is well-versed in building and leading award-winning teams”.
At Frasers she’d been a key player in its elevation strategy, working alongside CEO Michael Murray to reimagine the brand experience.
