Lindsay Clancy‘s fate remains unsettled, after the judge ruled the holdout juror will remain on the case.
Clancy’s lawyer, Kevin Reddington, was clearly upset, challenging the judge that he was not considering the concern of 11 jurors that the holdout is violating the law by not properly considering reasonable doubt. The judge fired back … he has sufficiently probed and believes the holdout is fit to serve.
When the jurors walked in and the judge was speaking to them about following the law, the female jurors were nodding their heads in agreement. The male jurors were not nodding.
Eleven jurors are in agreement, and although this is speculation, it would seen given the issue is reasonable doubt, the 11 are leaning toward something other than murder … possibly not guilty by reason of insanity.
Also interesting … Kevin Reddington was wearing a pink tie today. Pink is the color demonstrators supporting Clancy are wearing outside the courthouse.
The juror is back deliberating after 36 hours of hashing the case out.
