NFL on Sirius/XM set for the 2026 season

SiriusXM has announced its full broadcast and programming plans for the 2026 NFL season, delivering every game live and adding a deep roster of new voices to SiriusXM NFL Radio. The network enters the season with expanded access, fresh talent, and a commitment to giving fans more NFL content than ever before.

The season kicks off September 9 at 8:20 pm ET with the defending champion Seattle Seahawks facing the New England Patriots in a rematch of last February’s Super Bowl. The following night brings the league’s first international game of 2026, as Matthew Stafford and the Los Angeles Rams meet the San Francisco 49ers in Melbourne, Australia. Both matchups will air live on SiriusXM, along with every game from Week 1 through the Super Bowl.

Subscribers can listen in their vehicles or through the SiriusXM app, where both home and visiting team broadcasts are available for every matchup. Fans with sports play‑by‑play access can also tune directly to home and road feeds on in‑vehicle radios. Week 1’s full broadcast schedule is posted at SiriusXM.com/Sports. The company’s most popular plans — Platinum, All Access, Music & Entertainment — all include NFL coverage, and the new SiriusXM Sports Pass offers a sports‑focused option at $5 per month.

New Voices Join SiriusXM NFL Radio

SiriusXM NFL Radio, the only 24/7 channel dedicated entirely to the league, is adding multiple new hosts for 2026. The biggest addition is Super Bowl XLIV MVP and Hall of Fame quarterback Drew Brees, who joins the weekly show “Let’s Go!” alongside Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, Peter King, and Jim Gray. The new season debuts September 7 at 6 pm ET, with Stafford previewing the Rams‑49ers showdown in Australia.

New episodes of “Let’s Go!” air every Monday on SiriusXM NFL Radio and are available afterward on all major podcast platforms, with bonus content exclusive to the SiriusXM app.

Brees said he is excited to join Gray and the show’s lineup of guests, promising weekly insight and entertainment as the NFL season unfolds.

Active Players Take the Mic

SiriusXM continues to expand player‑driven programming with “The Players’ Point,” the only radio show hosted entirely by active NFL players. Giants defensive tackle Shelby Harris, Jets linebacker Demario Davis, and free agent receiver Brandin Cooks will rotate alongside returning host J.J. Jansen. Chargers fullback Alec Ingold also returns as a co‑host. The show airs Tuesdays at 6 pm ET.

Adam Thielen, who retired earlier this year after a 13‑season career, joins SiriusXM as a new host. He will be heard Tuesdays from 10 am to noon ET on “Airing It Out” with Bob Papa. Thielen’s journey from undrafted free agent to two‑time Pro Bowler gives him a unique perspective as he transitions to broadcasting.

A Deep Bench of NFL Legends and Insiders

SiriusXM NFL Radio’s lineup remains one of the deepest in sports media. Hall of Famers Tim Brown and Bill Polian, former executives Pat Kirwan, Tom Telesco, and Ran Carthon, and a long list of NFL veterans including Rich Gannon, Todd Haley, Ryan Leaf, Max Starks, Solomon Wilcots, and many others will anchor coverage throughout the season.

The channel also features established insiders and radio veterans such as Vic Carucci, Jade McCarthy, Bruce Murray, Amber Theoharis, Andrew Siciliano, and Damon Amendolara.

Sundays on SiriusXM

Every Sunday, SiriusXM’s “NFL Sunday Drive” airs from noon to 8 pm ET, taking listeners through all the afternoon action. Hosts Steve Torre and Bill Lekas provide live scoring updates, jump in and out of multiple broadcasts, and conduct postgame interviews with the day’s standout performers.

With every game available live and a refreshed lineup of voices, SiriusXM enters the 2026 NFL season with its most ambitious coverage yet — a full‑season, full‑access experience for fans across the country.
