Ricky Carmichael stands as one of the most dominant figures in motorsports history, earning universal recognition as the greatest motocross rider of all time. His rise began in the amateur ranks, where he captured an unprecedented 67 national titles, including nine AMA Amateur National Championships at Loretta Lynn’s Dude Ranch. Carmichael transitioned to the professional level in 1996 and immediately made an impact, earning AMA Motocross Rookie of the Year before embarking on a career defined by record‑setting excellence. His résumé includes 15 AMA Motocross Championships, 150 career wins, two perfect seasons, and the distinction of being the only rider to go undefeated in the 125 SX series.
