A Tight Pitching Battle Defines the Night
Both teams entered with elite pitching staffs, and the game unfolded exactly that way. Tampa struck first in the second inning when Jake Books doubled and later scored on a two‑out RBI single from Luke Fikar. The early lead held behind strong pitching and steady defense.
