Flexible workspace operator Spacemade is to open a second location, this time at Notting Dale creative campus in London’s Notting Hill.

Scheduled to come online in June, the new ‘Studio Y by Spacemade’ “will solidify West London’s reputation as a fashion business hub and marks Spacemade’s ongoing expansion in providing tailored workspace for businesses across the UK”, it said.

Tapping into the growing trend of “providing industry-specific environments”, the Notting Dale location, which is the brainchild of Peter Simon (founder of Monsoon and Accessorize), will offer flexible workspaces “for the needs of small- and medium-sized fashion businesses, as well as fashion-related industries such as beauty, photography, PR, design and content creation”.

Located within walking distance from Westfield White City, Spacemade will be operating an entire floor of over 19,000 sq ft for the landlord.

Notting Dale already features a contemporary art collection by artists such as Antony Gormley, Damien Hirst, and Carsten Höller and is also home to brands such as Dune, alongside luxury labels Stella McCartney and Phoebe Philo.

Studio Y will offer a comprehensive range of solutions and facilities, including private offices, co-working memberships, meeting rooms, a flexible screening room and event space.

“Our vision is to build a home where fashion and fashion-adjacent businesses, both small and large, can thrive,” said Dan Silverman, co-founder of Spacemade.

Simon added: As a vibrant hub for fashion and beauty brands, this location embodies the creative energy and innovation that West London is renowned for.”
