Muse frontman Matt Bellamy has filed for divorce from Elle Evans, after roughly 7 years of marriage, TMZ has learned.
According to documents obtained by TMZ, Bellamy b-lined it to a Los Angeles Superior Court on Wednesday. The exes share 2 children: a daughter, born in 2020, and a son born in 2024.
Matt is asking the court for sole custody of his kids.
The couple wed in Malibu in August 2019. The exes announced their separation in mid-2025. He said the breakup was due to “really unexpected circumstances.”
Matt was previously engaged to Kate Hudson until 2014, and the exes share a kid.
