Let ’em Run Keeneland Pick 5 review

Let ‘em Run: Keeneland 10/3/26 Review & 10/10/26 Preview

Let ‘em Run remained solid this weekend, with winners dotting the board, although we did not hit the late P5 when we singled #9 Zulu Kingdom in the last leg, and we were outdone by #3 Rhetorical for trainer William Walden. We encouraged our listeners on our 12:30 podcast to include Rhetorical and/or the #7 Lake Forest if your budget allowed. Here is how we did at Keeneland on Saturday, October 3, 2026.

Race 6 Review

We got off to a strong start as we tabbed the #6 Joe Sheisty as the most likely winner with a definitive pace edge on the field, paying $7.70 for the effort. We had the 2nd and 3rd place finishers #3 No Nay Hudson and the #10 Doncho tabbed as well.

Race 7 Review

On our ticket was another winner, #4 Evanescence, who paid $7.98 for the victory. A horse for course and distance were the key considerations in this selection.

Race 8 Review

We made a statement that we were going very deep here, looking for value (8 choices), and that decision paid off, as #9 Classic Q took top honors and paid $20.08 to keep the value angle alive and kicking. We moved to the last leg with all our hopes resting on our single.

Race 9 Review

In this race, we were against the 2 favorites, #1 Coach Pope and #2 Q B Rocket, but had them defensively on our ticket. We liked the winner #6 American History the best. We pointed out key factors in why this runner was our top pick, and it paid a nice $12.00 for the effort; we are moving along nicely so far.

Race 10 Review

We landed squarely on the #9 Zulu Kingdom, and that horse was beat by the #3 Rhetorical to close out the late P5. On our podcast, we made some recommendations to go deeper in this leg, if your budget allowed, as this was a salty edition of The Turf Mile. The P5 paid a nice $3,160 for those who had it.

Looking Ahead: Keeneland Preview for 10/10/26

So once again we landed on some winners, and hopefully our readers and viewers took advantage of that. Next week on Saturday, October 10, 2026, we will cover the late P5 at Keeneland races 6–10. The sequence includes The Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup for fillies, run at 1 ⅛ miles on turf. Stay tuned this week on Monday and Wednesday at 2 PM for our Brisnet.com Play of the Day for updates as well.

As always, bet smart, cheer hard, fast horses can lead to some serious fun, and in the end, just Let ‘em Run.
