Floridian Partners expands into Tampa, taps Samantha Greer to lead office

Floridian Partners is planting its flag in Tampa Bay, naming Samantha Greer Managing Partner of its new office and Chair of the government affairs firm’s statewide Education Practice.

Greer brings more than 15 years of experience advising clients on education policy, appropriations and regulatory matters. She previously operated her own government affairs consultancy and served as the University of Florida’s Director of Government Relations.

“Samantha is the kind of leader we wanted to build our Tampa presence around,” said Floridian Partners Managing Partner Charlie Dudley. “She has earned the confidence of clients through thoughtful counsel, strong relationships and consistent results. Her leadership gives us an outstanding foundation as we continue growing across Florida.”

The Tampa expansion gives Floridian Partners its third Florida office, joining existing operations in Tallahassee and Miami.

Greer will continue representing clients statewide while overseeing the firm’s work across Florida’s Pre-K-20 education system. Her experience includes representing universities, education foundations, direct-support organizations and other education-focused clients before state and local governments.

“Building my own firm confirmed that clients value practical counsel from advisers who understand both policy and politics,” Greer said. “Floridian Partners gives me the opportunity to bring that same approach to a broader platform without losing the personal relationships that matter most.”

The move also earned praise from Rep. Danny Alvarez.

“Successful advocates understand that relationships, competence and integrity matter as much as anything else,” the Tampa Republican said. “I have worked with Samantha and know her to be an honest broker with a deep passion for the issues she represents, especially education. She will undoubtedly make an immediate impact in the Tampa Bay region and at Floridian Partners.”

Floridian Partners Senior Partner Jorge Chamizo added, “Education policy shapes Florida’s workforce, economy and long-term competitiveness. Samantha understands that landscape and will be an exceptional resource for clients working to advance meaningful priorities.”
