Successful London fragrance retailer Bloom Perfumery has relocated within Covent Garden, opening a larger flagship location within the Mercers’ Company-operated space, The Yards.
With the new store reflecting the brand’s “significant growth and popularity”, Bloom Perfumery’s new Slingsby Place store is triple Langley Court’s previous size, at 2,900 sq ft.
The aim is to comfortably accommodate the influx of visitors the store receives, as well as the brand’s growing collection of fragrances.
With around 100 brands and more than 1,000 perfumes, it boasts that 80% are exclusive to the perfumery. Showcasing a range of independent, exclusive, and niche fragrances, “Bloom offers visitors a bespoke shopping experience” with specialists on hand to assist visitors in selecting the perfect perfume.
A spokesperson from Bloom Perfumery said: “Having outgrown our Langley Court space, it was necessary that we found an established location in Covent Garden to accommodate our growth in demand and evolving brand.
“Situated among a curated line-up of first-rate global and UK names in fashion and beauty, The Yards’ 4 Slingsby Place was the ideal next step for Bloom Perfumery where we could continue to flourish, allowing us to stock up to 100 carefully-chosen brands.”
The Mercers’ Company also said the upgraded move “cements the destination’s position as the leading location for premium lifestyle brands” including Space NK, The White Company, Lululemon, and Reiss, while introducing Nobody’s Child and Whistles to its wider area. Abercrombie & Fitch is set to open a store within The Yards later this year.
