Following a successful Spring/Summer 24 runway collaboration, independent British luxury brands Erdem and Barbour are back in the spotlight with a capsule collection for Spring/Summer 25.

We’re told the outerwear collection of outerwear “juxtaposes Erdem’s language of poetic and modern femininity with Barbour’s traditional practicality and heritage fabrications”

The result is a five-piece capsule that takes inspiration from Erdem’s “signature silhouettes and precise tailoring, alongside a fascination with the natural world”.

The collection comprises four key outerwear styles: The Beauflower (an evolution of the Barbour Beaufort wax jacket), The Dhalia (features an exploded peplum waist and detachable tartan hood; The Clover (a reversable swing jacket) and The Constance (a wax jacket that combines a classic tailored silhouette with utilitarian details).

The Dhalia, Clover and Constance are offered in both sand and olive colourways, and also available is a detachable hood with checked interior and etched floral overprint.

The fashion label’s creative director Erdem Moralioglu said the collab was “inspired by the extraordinary Barbour archive, particularly their fabrics and hardware and loved the idea of translating their heritage of practical, utilitarian details and combining it with my language of the feminine.”

There’s also an extension to the capsule collection with the brands having collaborated on a Re-Loved initiative. They’ve taken 25 previously-owned Beaufort jackets to given them new life. Restored with oversized cord collars and embellished with silver hardware eyelets, they take inspiration from the Erdem runway”.
