Wayne Gretzky is suing his former business partner … alleging the woman filed a meritless lawsuit against him in 2022 just to score a quick payday off him.

The NHL legend filed the suit in Los Angeles County this week — some three years after Veera Mahajan sued him for his alleged role in the demise of a weight loss gum business called “OMG.”

In her ’22 lawsuit, Mahajan said she invested in the co. after Gretzky had claimed he lost 35 pounds in a few weeks from chewing on the product. She claimed Wayne later admitted that he lied about the weight loss — and it tanked the biz. She sued for fraud and was seeking unspecified damages.

Now Gretzky is suing her for malicious prosecution … and is asking for unspecified damages.

This is not the first time “OMG” has created legal headaches for Gretzky … the company’s founder, Steven Sparks, actually sued him with similar allegations to Mahajan days before she filed her complaint. That lawsuit remains ongoing.

We caught up with Candiace — who starred on “The Real Housewives of the Potomac” from 2018 to 2024 — outside Better Brothers Los Angeles’ Truth Awards, a night to honor members of the Black LGBTQ+ community for the good work they do as well as to give out scholarships to LGBTQ+ youth.

Our photog asked her about Huger who was sentenced to one year in prison last month for a March 2024 crash … and, she says she’s “devastated” for Karen and her family.

As you know … last March, Karen struck a median and crosswalk sign at an intersection before colliding with a parking sign and coming to a halt just off the roadway. Body cam footage showed Huger being questioned after the crash.

The Maryland State’s Attorney’s Office told us that, in addition to serving one year, Karen cannot drive at all for a year after her release, and she also received 5 years of supervised probation upon release with interlock once she can drive again. She’ll also have to pay a fine.

“The Mandalorian” fans will be pulling out their wallets and saying “This is the way” for this new auction item … a lightsaber used in the show and wielded by Luke Skywalker himself, Mark Hamill!

GWS Auction has put the saber up for sale … starting the bidding at $25K — so, a super Star Wars fan is going to need to empty the bank account for this one.

According to the site, two versions of the lightsaber — a metal one called a “hero” lightsaber used for close-up shots and inserts and a lighter “stunt” lightsaber used in general shots and action sequences. This is the stunt lightsaber.

Luke’s lightsaber has been put in a “custom-designed, museum-quality display that perfectly captures the essence of a vintage Star Wars toy” to pay homage to the series old school aesthetic while keeping it from damage … pretty important since it’s going for at leasrt 25 Gs.

The auction goes live on March 22 … and, it appears bidding needs to be done in increments of $2,000 — so, this collectible could break the bank.
