US childenswear brand Janie and Jack has chosen British fashion journalist (and mother of two) Louise Roe to bring “English country style” to the house as it expands in the UK.

Louise Roe Edit

Roe has been tapped to curate a selection of looks “shaped by her distinctly British approach to family style” to complement the opening of its first London store in Chelsea.

The Louise Roe Edit is a 12-piece autumn collection which “brings together equestrian influences, heirloom florals, cable knits and tailored classics, pairing the romance of the English countryside with Janie and Jack’s American heritage.”

The retailer said the result is a wardrobe “that feels both familiar and fresh: a modern expression of classic style designed for childhood’s most treasured occasions and everyday rituals alike.”

Available in girls’ and boys’ sizes ranging from newborn to age 12, the first pieces are available now at janieandjack.uk priced £55-£105.

Alison Stiefel, chief marketing officer, said: “Louise has an authentic connection to Janie and Jack and a point of view on style that naturally bridges British and American influences. Her British perspective pairs beautifully with the classic American style at the heart of our brand.

“As we continue to grow our presence in London, she felt like the perfect person to bring those two worlds together through her edit of our fall collection.”
