The two have already met informally, and they will finalize their cadence during an August 17 production meeting. Chris Myers has been the steady voice of the Buccaneers’ preseason coverage, working alongside Barber for multiple seasons. His absence on August 22 opened the door for Gruden’s debut. Myers will return for the other preseason games, maintaining continuity for viewers who have grown familiar with his work.
