The Hollywood baby boom shows no signs of slowing down, and another A-lister is proudly showing off her growing belly all over social media!

Michelle Trachtenberg‘s death shocked many in the film industry … and, clearly she wasn’t expecting it either — ’cause she had plans for a major appearance in the coming weeks.

Jennifer Hutchins — a producer on the film “Spyral,” Michelle’s final credit — tells TMZ … Trachtenberg was supposed to appear at a benefit screening of the movie in Austin for SXSW on March 12 to support mental health nonprofits.

Hutchins says the “Spyral” team knew she was struggling with health issues … but, if she was well enough, she planned to attend either in person or via Zoom.

As you know …. Michelle’s mother found her unresponsive in her New York City apartment Wednesday — and, first responders pronounced her dead at the scene.

Trachtenberg had a liver transplant in the months before her death … though it’s unclear if that played a part in her passing. Her family has declined to have an autopsy performed.

Hutchins remembers Trachtenberg as “one of the sweetest, most gentle human beings I’ve ever had the pleasure to know. I could tell she cared deeply about people and using her voice for the greater good.” She adds Michelle’s performance in “Spyral” was so powerful it brought people working on the film to tears. Trachtenberg was 39.

The Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Department held a news conference to give an update on the investigation into the deaths of legendary actor Gene Hackman and his wife, Betsy Arakawa, this afternoon — and, it sounds like Gene was dead in the New Mexico home for a week and a half before he was found.

Sheriff Adan Mendoza led the news conference as deputies continue to look into the deaths they labeled “suspicious” in a department application for a search warrant this week.

During the press conference, Mendoza says Hackman’s pacemaker shows its last event on February 17 — indicating that’s when it stopped and when he died. The full autopsy is pending.

As you know … Gene and his wife Betsy were found dead in their home Wednesday afternoon after a caretaker of their neighborhood dialed 911 to report seeing a body in the couple’s house, and deputies responded to conduct a welfare check.

The caller was incredibly emotional … and, when first responders arrived, they found Hackman, Arakawa and one of their dogs unresponsive. The three were pronounced dead at the scene.

Cops are looking into the death they’ve labeled as suspicious for a variety of reasons … like numerous pills spilled out on a bathroom counter, an unlocked front door, and no obvious signs of a gas leak.

The sheriff and the Santa Fe fire chief spoke on “TODAY” Friday and admitted they weren’t ruling out the carbon monoxide poisoning theory … since the bodies weren’t found for some time and gas could have dissipated.

Hackman was 95 … Arakawa was 65.
