Will Smith is under fire from a professional violinist who is suing the actor/musician for allegedly retaliating against him after he reported a sexual harassment incident.
Brian King Joseph filed the suit this week in L.A. Superior Court, claiming he first met Smith in November 2024 after he was referred to Smith by other artists for a recording opportunity.
Joseph says he went to Smith’s home and showcased his talents on the violin, before he was offered to join Smith’s music tour, “Based on a True Story,” according to the suit.
In March 2025, the suit says, the band was scheduled to play their first gig in Las Vegas — and things quickly went downhill after they all checked into a hotel.
At some point, Joseph claims, he found evidence that an intruder had gained access to his room, fearing he would later be targeted for unwanted sexual acts.
Joseph says the evidence included a written note that read, “Brian, I’ll be back…just us,” which was signed by “Stone F” along with a heart-shaped drawing.
Joseph says he also discovered “wipes, a beer bottle, a red backpack, a bottle of HIV medication with another individual’s name, an earring, and hospital discharge paperwork belonging to a person unbeknownst to.”
After he reported the incident to hotel security, the suit says Joseph was confronted by one of Smith’s associates, who asked him why he lied about the alleged break-in … soon after, Joseph says he was fired from the tour.
Smith’s attorney, Allen B. Grodsky, told PEOPLE, “Mr. Joseph’s allegations concerning my client are false, baseless, and reckless.”
Grodsky added, “They are categorically denied, and we will use all legal means available to address these claims and to ensure that the truth is brought to light.”

Dr. Oz is defending new federal guidelines on alcohol consumption … he says it’s best to limit the booze — but if you must imbibe, at least drink with friends and be sociable.
The head of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services joined us on “TMZ Live,” and we challenged him over guardrails being removed from federal guidance on alcohol.
The government’s new guidelines say to “limit alcoholic beverages” … before, the feds said two drinks max per day for men, and one for women … and now, there are no specifics.
Dr. Oz says the 2-to-1 distinction between men and women was more about marketing than anything … and while he says it’s best to avoid alcohol altogether if you want to be healthy, he says there’s no denying there are health benefits to socializing … and he sees alcohol as a “social lubricant.”

Of course, Dr. Oz says that doesn’t mean folks should make alcohol part of their complete breakfast … if they’re doing that, he thinks they should be going to meetings like the ones he says RFK Jr. attends daily.

Super Bowl Halftime Show Performers …

Turning Point USA is pushing full steam ahead with plans for its own Super Bowl halftime show … but the conservative org is keeping key details under wraps.
Aubrey Laitsch, public relations manager for TPUSA, tells TMZ … “The All American Halftime Show” is 100 percent on — though fans will have to tune in live on Sunday, Feb. 8 to find out who’s taking the stage.
Laitsch says multiple performers are already locked in, but she declined to reveal who they are … or even what type of performers viewers can expect.
She was also tight-lipped about where the show will take place, and wouldn’t confirm whether it will actually air live.
The Charlie Kirk-cofounded right-wing advocacy organization announced back in October that it’s rolling out its own halftime show after Republicans ripped the NFL for choosing Bad Bunny to headline the Super Bowl LX Halftime show. At the time, TPUSA teased, “Performers and event details coming soon” … but clearly plans shifted.
The nonprofit’s website still asks fans, “What music genres would you like to see featured?” … with options including “anything in English.”

Keep in mind … just last month Nicki Minaj appeared onstage alongside Erika Kirk at a TPUSA event — so TPUSA’s mystery performers could end up being bigger names than some might expect.
