Webull enters second year as Tampa Bay Rays’ jersey partner


Online investment platform Webull will serve as the corporate jersey patch partner for the Tampa Bay Rays in 2026, marking the second year of the partnership.

Jersey patch sponsorships, which allow corporate sponsors to place patches on player jerseys, were first introduced in Major League Baseball in the 2023 season and have since become commonplace, with such sponsorships now entering collegiate sports.

The Webull patches will appear on Rays’ player jerseys in the upcoming season, representing a new chapter in the collaboration and in Webull’s investment in the Tampa Bay community. The company relocated its headquarters to St. Pete in 2022.

“This partnership represents more than just a logo on a jersey. It is a commitment to the community,” Webull Head of Strategic Partnerships Carlos Questell said in a statement.

“Since establishing our U.S. headquarters in St. Petersburg, we’ve focused on building meaningful connections with the Tampa Bay community. Our collaboration with the Rays allows us to engage with fans in a way that reflects the resilience and energy of this region while continuing to expand awareness of Webull’s platform.”

In the first year of its partnership, Webull and the Rays supported hurricane relief efforts across the Tampa Bay region, including donating a portion of funds from Webull accounts opened by Rays fans. The initiative generated $20,000 for local relief efforts by the end of the 2025 season, and also included a hands-on service project in Pinellas County helping to restore a local storm-damaged home.

For the 2026 season the Webull jersey patch will carry additional meaning locally, with elements of the tattered Tropicana Field roof — damaged during Hurricane Milton in 2024 and forcing the team to play at Steinbrenner Field in Tampa for the 2025 season — into the patch’s design.

Each Tampa Bay Rays jersey will feature a Webull colorway alongside a physical reminder of the resilience shown across the region after the back-to-back storms in 2024, which also included Hurricane Helene two weeks before Milton.

“This partnership also reflects our shared belief in creating meaningful experiences on and off the field and will help us to continue investing in our fans and the future,” Rays Business Chief Officer Bill Walsh said.

Players aren’t the only ones who can enjoy the jerseys featuring the new patches. Fans can also purchase them at the Bay Republican Team Store, though supplies are limited.
