Waterhouse, Lerman front Michael Kors campaign that introduces new lifestyle content approach

Michael Kors has enlisted British model-actress-musician Suki Waterhouse to front its spring 2025 campaign alongside American actor Logan Lerman. But it’s more than just a series of attractive images with the campaign being the start of a new marketing concept for the brand (more of which later).

The two stars were shot by fashion photographer Mert Alas on Ibiza in Spain where they “channel the idyllic, boho-meets-urbane nature of the island in the season’s must-have pieces”. The shoot was styled by former Paris Vogue editor Emmanuelle Alt

The campaign aims to “capture the joy of traveling the world in style as Waterhouse and Lerman stroll through the Old Town, splash in Ibiza’s crystalline waters, and discover locals-only haunts while wearing clothes and accessories that combine sophistication and ease,” we’re told.

Label founder Michael Kors said that Ibiza and the campaign have a “wonderful sort of hippie boho vibe mixed with a very modern glamour”. And he added that Waterhouse is “the epitome of a hyphenate — a fabulous singer, writer, performer and actress with amazing personal style. And Logan has energy, style and that classic Hollywood movie star look”.

The latest season also sees the introduction of a new content series for Michael Kors entitled ‘Hotel Stories’. Building on the brand’s long heritage of marrying fashion and travel, this will highlight a boutique hotel in the season’s featured destination to “serve as the starting point for a Kors-inflected wealth of travel and style content”. 

The goal is “not just to immerse people in a multisensory travel experience, but to provide in-the-know information and inspiration for travellers”.

It’s clearly a means of Kors wrapping up its brand in a full lifestyle experience and for the Ibiza chapter of Hotel Stories, Kors shot on location at the Montesol Experimental Hotel in the heart of Old Town. The nearly 100-year-old has hosted some famous and diverse guests from Princess Caroline of Monaco to rock band Pink Floyd. 

Thematic fashion stories and product photography captured at the hotel will be on the Michael Kors website and in emails, while the brand’s social account will feature additional Ibiza insights, including interviews with local talents, from a ceramic artist to a local yogi.

And the label’s various global regions will bring to life additional Hotel Stories throughout the season with boutique hotel activations relevant to their respective countries.
