Valentino reopens Montenapoleone boutique – FashionNetwork

Valentino has reopened its historic Milanese address at 20 Via Montenapoleone. The boutique, which had been in operation since 1969 and had become a landmark for affluent international shoppers, was temporarily closed in 2022 for renovations.

The original boutique had an entrance on Via Santo Spirito 3, but over the course of its history, it has been the subject of successive expansions that have led it to become part of its larger current version, complete with a main entrance at number 20 Via Montenapoleone.

The flagship, now completely renovated, covers more than 1,170 sq m spread over three levels and features two separate entrances, dedicated to the men’s and women’s collections, respectively.

One entrance leads to the women’s universe, which opens on the ground floor with Valentino Garavani bags and small leather goods, accompanied by Valentino eyewear and beauty proposals. On the first floor are women’s footwear and ready-to-wear. The second and last floor is entirely designed for evening gowns, displayed in large spaces from which there is access to two private rooms, dedicated to more exclusive activities.

The other entrance, also overlooking Via Montenapoleone, leads to the men’s world with a complete path through the Valentino Garavani clothing and accessories collections.

The fashion house celebrated the reopening with two new limited-edition variants of its Valentino Garavani Vain line of bags, on sale exclusively at the Milan store.

To mark the reopening, the store will also host the special Valentino Garavani and Vans collaboration, which will be available for Italy as an exclusive preview in the Milan store a week before the official launch on September 12.

The celebrations will continue on September 24 with the customisation of the flower stand between Via Manzoni and Via Montenapoleone, and a giveaway for passersby with a creation by floral artist Thierry Boutemy.
