The USF women’s basketball team (19-11; 12-5 American) earned an 82-36 victory over Temple (13-17; 7-11 American) on Tuesday in the Yuengling Center on Senior Night.
L’or Mputu led the Bulls with 20 points, tying her career high. She also recorded eight rebounds and two blocks. Edyn Battle earned a career-high 12 assists, while adding 11 points and seven rebounds. Stefanie Ingram finished with 11 points and five assists. Katie Davidson put up 12 points while Ines Piper added 11 points, a block and a steal.
The Bulls secured their biggest winning margin of the season, finishing 46 points ahead of the Owls. Temple shot 16.7 percent from the field. This is the lowest shooting percentage South Florida has held an opponent to since November 24, 2019, when the Bulls limited Saint Francis to 13.5%.

How it Happened
South Florida had a slow start, allowing five straight points to Temple before taking control for the remainder of the first quarter. The Bulls went on a 16-0 run and forced the Owls into a scoring drought for over eight minutes. Temple shot 6.3% in the quarter as USF took a 17-6 lead.
The Bulls’ dominance carried into the second quarter as they built a 26-point lead, their largest of the half. South Florida closed the period on a 9–0 run and controlled the boards, outrebounding the Owls 30–16. Temple struggled offensively, shooting just 14% from the field and going 5-for-35 in the first half. By halftime, the Bulls held a commanding 41–15 advantage.
South Florida carried the momentum into the third quarter. Temple did not score a point in the first six minutes of the second half. The Owls were 8-for-52 from the field, through three quarters as the Bulls extended their lead to 67-26 entering the fourth.
Davidson opened the fourth quarter with back-to-back three-pointers, sparking a USF 9-0 run. The Bulls finished the game shooting 50% from the field while holding Temple to 16.7%. South Florida outrebounded Temple 55-39.
