South Florida’s full 2026 football schedule is officially set, and Brian Hartline’s first season comes with an early challenge. The Bulls will open American Conference play in Week 2 with a trip to Army, marking the program’s earliest league game ever and its first visit to West Point since 2003.

The matchup also marks USF’s first meeting with Army as an American Conference opponent. The all‑time series is tied 1‑1, with the Bulls winning 28‑0 in their last trip to West Point.
Seven Home Games and the Final Season at Raymond James Stadium
The 2026 campaign is USF’s 30th season of football and its final year at Raymond James Stadium before moving into the new 35,000‑seat on‑campus stadium in 2027 .
The Bulls will host seven home games for the first time since 2019 after going 6‑0 at home last season. Season tickets are already on sale, with single‑game tickets coming later.
Non‑Conference Slate Opens the Season
USF begins the year at home against FIU on Sept. 5, followed by Delaware State on Sept. 19. The lone non‑conference road game comes at Bowling Green on Sept. 26 .
Homecoming is set for Oct. 17 against Kent State, completing the non‑conference schedule.
October Brings a Heavy Conference Stretch
The Bulls return to league play on Oct. 3 when they host Temple, a series USF leads at home 4‑1. A weeknight road trip to UTSA follows on Oct. 8, only the second meeting between the programs .
After Homecoming, USF gets an open week before hosting UAB on Oct. 31. The Halloween matchup will be a Black Out game, with the Bulls wearing black uniforms.
November Features Weeknight Games and Key Road Tests
USF heads to ECU on Friday, Nov. 6, continuing a stretch of weeknight contests. ECU has won the last three meetings, including the 2022 matchup moved to Boca Raton due to Hurricane Ian .
The Bulls return home Nov. 12 for the Salute to Service game against Memphis, then travel to FAU on Nov. 21. The regular season closes at home against Tulane on Nov. 27 or 28, with the final date and TV details coming by Oct. 11.
Championship Format and What’s Ahead
All 14 American Conference teams will play eight league games in 2026, with the top two teams meeting in the championship game on Dec. 5 .
The conference is coming off a strong 2025 season that included nine bowl teams and Tulane reaching the College Football Playoff.
USF opens spring practice on March 11, with the Spring Game set for April 19 at Corbett Stadium.
