URW’s Rowsell, Landec’s Busby join exec board of reshaped Revo

Revo, the influential forum for retail-led, mixed-use real estate, has a new chair, two new key board members, and has introduced a new streamlined governance structure.

URW Northern Europe MD Jacinta Rowsell takes non-exec role at Revo

And those two board members are big hitters in the sector: Jacinta Rowsell is also managing director, Customer & Retail Operations, Northern Europe at Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW), and Jack Busby is head of Retail & Operations at peer Landsec.

“Reflecting the dynamic changes under way in the retail and leisure built environment”, the strategic running, governance and oversight of the organisation will now be the responsibility of an executive board while major projects will be managed by a projects board, made up of the executive board and chairs of Revo’s major projects.

Vivienne King, current Revo board member and founder of Impactful Places, will become chair of both the executive and project boards for one year, with Dan Parr, senior VP of CACI, becoming chair-elect.

Rowsell and Busby join Stuart Harris, Sara Boonham, Dan Parr, Yvonne Boyd and Kayley Buxton on the executive board, alongside King.

Meanwhile, Caroline Maine, head of Retail at MAPP and who has been a Revo board member for over two years, moves onto the new projects board as 2025 conference committee chair.

Roswell said of her appointment: “Revo’s approach to empowering the retail and leisure sectors through collaboration and innovation is what has driven its success over the past 38 years. I look forward to working closely with the team to continue this collaboration to drive positive impact and forward-thinking opportunities for our members.”

Busby added: “Landsec is committed to owning and managing great places that stand the test of time. I am eager to help bring this same approach to my role on the Revo Board.”

King also said: “Working with an impressive Executive Board and the broader membership to continue Revo’s role as a leading voice for the retail and leisure-built environment. Revo is bringing back its own conference in September this year, which makes it a particularly exciting moment to be taking on the Chair.”
