‘Ned’s Declassified’ alum Tylor Chase has begun the process of getting into a rehab facility after his former co-stars begged him to get mental health help and off the streets.
Jacob Harris — the owner of Shipwreck Barbershop in Riverside, California, who has been a major advocate for Tylor — tells TMZ … he visited Tylor for 3 hours on Christmas day, a visit he calls a “tipping point.” He adds … “I had to do something. I finally found a crisis center that would come out and do an on-site evaluation.”
Jacob explains the former child star was evaluated by the crisis center, and workers decided he needed to be taken in to receive “medical attention” at a Riverside-area hospital. We’re told Tylor is now on a 72-hour hold and is being treated before being taken into a rehab facility.
Jacob got involved with Tylor after Shaun Weiss from “The Mighty Ducks” called him up a few days back to help locate him. Harris’ number was then passed around to Tylor’s dad, his co-stars, and other family members, who set up video calls and meetings with him through Harris’ phone.
Tylor’s former Nickelodeon co-star Daniel Curtis Lee even went as far as getting him a motel room to take him off the streets … but then reported that Tylor trashed the room within hours, prompting hotel management to give him a ring. Daniel had been warned by Tylor’s family members that similar acts of kindness in the past have gone awry.
It’s not clear which treatment facility Tylor will enter, but Shaun previously invited him to stay at Eleven 11 Recovery center in San Clemente, Calif., which he is involved with.
The push for help came after videos of Tylor circulated the internet, showing him looking unkempt and in need of housing. His former ‘Ned’s Declassified’ costars — Lee, Devon Werkheiser and Lindsey Shaw — addressed the videos on their podcast in September.
TMZ caught up with Devon this week, who told us he’s heartbroken seeing Tylor going through so much. He noted … “Anyone who has dealt with severe addiction and deep mental health issues knows it’s an unbelievably challenging situation if they don’t want help … My only hope is that from this exposure, someone with real understanding and resources can step in, get Tylor into treatment, and help him get back on track.”

‘Big Brother’ Star Dead at 35

Beloved “Big Brother” star Mickey Lee has died after being rushed to the ICU earlier this week.
Her family shared the heartbreaking update on her IG Friday morning, informing her nearly 30,000 followers she took her last breath during the evening of December 25, on Christmas. They remembered her as being authentic and strong, with a spirit that left “a lasting impression on fans.” They also thanked her fans for their prayers and support during this difficult time.
As we previously reported … Mickey suffered multiple cardiac arrests tied to complications from the flu. She landed in the ICU and was in critical, but stable, condition until Christmas morning.
Mickey’s family launched a GoFundMe after her hospitalization to help cover the tremendous cost of her stay. They wrote at the time … “This sudden health crisis has left Mickey and her family facing enormous emotional and financial strain … Every donation no matter the size will go directly to Mickey’s care and help ease the burden on her loved ones during this difficult time.”
Mickey competed on Season 27 of “Big Brother” and instantly became a fan favorite for being able to balance authenticity with strategy. She was also an advocate for Atlanta’s cultural scene.
She was 35.

‘Operation Bad Santa’
12 NJ Men Accused of Contacting Minors for Sex

12 sick men from New Jersey ended up on Santa’s extra naughty list after they were busted for trying to meet up with a minor for sex earlier this week.
Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone announced the successful mission called “Operation Bad Santa” took a dozen dudes aged 23 to 65 years old — including a middle school teacher and youth program coordinator — to the slammer after they traveled to a residence expecting to find an underage child for sexual activity. During the multi-agency effort, officers posed as minors on social media and messaging apps, and persuaded the men to meet them at the undisclosed Middlesex address … where they were consequently cuffed.
The operation involved several police departments, the Department of Homeland Security, and the FBI Newark. It took place between December 8 and December 15.
Most of the men were arrested on one count of second-degree luring and one count of third-degree criminal attempt of endangering sexual conduct with a child — all felonies. They have been identified as Marcos Aguila, 57, of East Brunswick; Cameron Ameye, 33, of Bloomingdale; Delpis Reynoso-Castro, 26, of New Brunswick; Jose Leguia, 57, of Old Bridge; Hareshkumar “Harry” Vala, 44, of Dunellen; Vedant Khandelwal, 38, of Bridgewater; Kevin Knox, 65, of North Brunswick; and Joseph Davicsin, 46, of East Brunswick. Raul Angeles, 53, of Asbury Park, was solely charged with one count of third-degree criminal attempt of endangering sexual conduct with a child.
Jorge Mora, 52, of Jackson, and Akash Shah, 23, of East Brunswick, have also been accused of distributing obscene material to a minor. James Keating, 59, of Edison, was arrested on one count of third-degree criminal attempt of endangering sexual conduct with a child and one count of third-degree distributing obscene material to a minor.
Ameye is a program coordinator of Youth Rise, an academic readiness program at Passaic County Community College, and Davicsin is a middle school teacher in Elizabeth, according to the prosecutor’s office.
Ciccone says the investigation is ongoing and reminds the public that all defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
