Ippei Mizuhara was officially sentenced to 57 months in prison on Thursday … after fessing up to swindling millions from Dodgers superstar Shohei Ohtani.

Mizuhara’s fate was determined in a Santa Ana, California court just minutes ago — not only has he been sentenced to four years and some change behind bars, but he was also ordered to pay $18 million in restitution — nearly $17 million to Ohtani and another $1.1 million to the IRS.

The former Angels and Dodgers employee pleaded guilty to one count of bank fraud and one count of tax fraud back in June 2024 … owning up to taking the money from Ohtani’s bank account to clear his debts with bettors.

Mizuhara expressed his regret over his actions again in court … saying it was a mistake that would stick with him for the rest of his life, but was prepared to accept the consequences.

Mizuhara’s attorney was pulling for an 18-month sentence due to his accountability and remorse … but ultimately, federal prosecutors got what they wanted.

The Super Bowl is going big, about as big as it gets in Hollywood, anyway — enlisting Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt to be part of Sunday’s festivities … TMZ has learned.

Sources involved in the production tell us both Tom and Brad will have prominent roles in FOX’s Super Bowl pregame broadcast. We’re told Brad’s role will have something to do with a tribute to America about 30 minutes prior to the 6:30 PM ET kickoff.

It’s unclear exactly what Tom will be doing for the pregame, but his involvement immediately takes us back to his Olympics Closing Ceremony appearance where he did a skydive to signal the Games coming to L.A. in 2028.

TMZ broke the story … Lady Gaga will also be part of the pregame, after filming a moving tribute to first responders early Thursday morning on Bourbon Street. Tom Brady, Michael Strahan, Terry Bradshaw, Howie Long and Commissioner Roger Goodell were also on hand for the segment.

Ben Stiller is setting the record straight about his humanitarian trip to Ukraine … denying he ever received any payment from USAID to visit the war-torn country.

Elon Musk pushed out a purported E! News video on X yesterday, which alleged a number of celebrities — including Stiller, Angelina Jolie, Orlando Bloom and Sean Penn — were sent to Ukraine, paid for with American taxpayers’ money. The video has been proven fake.

But the fake video picked up steam on social media thanks to countless retweets from Trump supporters, including Donald Trump Jr. and Scott Baio

He wrote … “These are lies coming from Russian media. I completely self-funded my humanitarian trip to Ukraine. There was no funding from USAID and certainly no personal payments.”

Stiller visited Ukraine in 2022 amid its ongoing war after Russia invaded the country in 2022. He met Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who Stiller called his “hero.”

The actor later recorded a video message from Ukraine for World Refugee Day, calling for others to support people displaced by the violence.
