The victim in the Tiger Woods crash has lawyered up … TMZ Sports has learned.
The notice of appearance and invocation of rights were filed in Florida on Thursday … showing Jeromy Bullard will be represented by Jason Fagnano, a personal injury attorney who specializes in auto, truck, motorcycle, bicycle and pedestrian accidents.
The development now allows Bullard to be represented in the criminal case … and makes sure his rights are protected every step of the way. It doesn’t necessarily mean he’s suing Woods.
The 50-year-old golf legend hit the pressure washer trailer attached to Bullard’s Ford pickup truck in Florida on March 27 as he was attempting to turn into a driveway.
As we previously reported, the driver stated he could see Woods’ black Range Rover approaching from behind … and his attempt to get out of the way was unsuccessful.
Woods’ whip wrecked Bullard’s rear driver side wheel of the trailer … which needed to be removed in order to get the attachment off the scene.
According to the report, the damage done to his rig was around $5,000.
There were no reported injuries between Woods and Bullard.
Woods is facing DUI with property damage and refusal to submit to a lawful test … and was hit with a careless driving citation as well.
He has since vowed to seek treatment … and will go out of the country for it due to privacy concerns.
