TFG London is busy making key appointments at present and fresh from the Whistles, Hobbs, Phase Eight and White Stuff owner naming a chief product officer it has announced a chief brand officer.
Julia Monro
Julia Monro will lead brand, marketing, and creative direction across group brands, reporting to its CEO.
She’ll “work closely with brand and cross-functional teams to define and implement marketing strategies that give TFG London’s house of brands a distinctive voice and platform”.
As with the CPO appointment, the CBO one is an internal promotion. This time, Monro has been brand director at White Stuff for five years where she spearheaded a brand transformation effort that modernised White Stuff’s identity. The rejuvenation of White Stuff’s brand through a curated and innovative marketing strategy has helped to fuel its commercial success and attract record numbers of new customers in recent years”.
And her work will also have contributed to the appeal of White Stuff that drove TFG to acquire it last autumn.
Prior to White Stuff, Monro spent six-and-a-half years at Pret A Manger in a variety of senior roles, most recently as marketing director, and six years in marketing at M&S.
TFG Brands London’s CEO Justin Hampshire said: “Since acquiring White Stuff in October 2024, I have been impressed by Julia’s creativity and innovative approach to marketing the brand. I am confident she is the right person to step into this newly created group role to lead the brand, marketing, and creative direction across Hobbs, Whistles, Phase Eight and White Stuff.”
