Stepping into the role with immediate effect and reporting directly to CEO Justin Hampshire, Ambrose will “oversee all aspects of the group’s product and brands, from strategy and planning through to execution”. She’ll be responsible for “ensuring brand consistency and driving product development” across the three Hobbs, Whistles and Phase Eight operations.

The company said she has “a wealth of expertise in fashion retail, a proven track record in product leadership, and a passion for developing inclusive, high-performing teams”.
Before Hobbs she spent two years as head of buying for women’s clothing and kidswear at The White Company and over 20 years in a variety of buying roles at M&S.
