A parachutist at the Armed Forces Bowl ended up with an unexpected touchdown prior to the game … or, perhaps “crash-down” is a more apt term — since he went down hard after catching on the field goal net.

The wild moment went down before the college football game in Fort Worth, Texas Friday … when a few parachutists leapt from planes during the flyover to land on the field — all pretty standard fare for big-time matchups like this one.

While four of the jumpers landed safe and sound, one got a little to close net behind the goal post which keeps balls from landing in the crowd … stopping his momentum and sending him plummeting to the earth.

Rice University’s dreams of winning The 23rd Annual Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl crashed about as hard as the parachutist, BTW … because Texas State smoked Rice 41-10.

Romy and Jake Reiner are keeping their parents’ tradition of doing good deeds … by cleaning up the beach on New Year’s Day with their friends.

The two siblings took to the shore in Malibu Thursday to get the New Year off to a positive start … with Romy walking alongside Alex Siliberg, who had a trash bag at the ready to pick up any litter on the way.

The duo kept their eyes to the mud … searching for any bits of scrap they could add to their quickly growing collection of garbage.

As you know … Romy and Jake have reportedly been staying together in Malibu since the tragic murders of their parents, Rob Reiner and Michele Singer Reiner. Their other brother, Nick, was arrested and charged with the murders.

Romy’s been seen taking regular walks on the shoreline with Alex … drinking in the fresh air in the aftermath of her family’s terrible tragedy.

There’s nothing holding Shawn Mendes back from putting his hands all over his new lady … because he was spotted getting close to his girl Bruna Marquezine!

The singer-songwriter hooked up with the Brazilian bombshell off the coast of Algagoas — a state in the Latin American country … eyes closed, lips tightly intertwined while they waded in the crystal clear water.

Shawn and Bruna’s afternoon delight came just a couple weeks after we saw them leaving an airport in Brazil together … before they grabbed dinner at a Rio de Janeiro restaurant.
