Just weeks after rupturing his Achilles, Tiger Woods made the shocking announcement he’s recovered in time to compete in next week’s Masters … thanks to some revolutionary rehabilitation and a certain holiday that falls on Tuesday.

“I can’t believe I am saying this, but a few weeks after rupturing my left Achilles, the sleeping in a hyperbaric chamber plus the explosive lifts my doctors and trainers have me ready to play the Masters next week!” Big Cat said on X.

“Can’t wait! See y’all on the course.”

Woods’ tomfoolery is a good sign as he nurses himself back to 100% though … as he certainly hasn’t lost his sense of humor despite the setback.

Dallas Mavericks fans clearly still loathe Nico Harrison for trading away Luka Doncic … one actually yelled right in the GM’s face on Monday, “Fire Nico!” — repeatedly!

The scene unfolded just before the Mavs’ tilt with the Brooklyn Nets at American Airlines Center in Dallas … as Harrison — who jettisoned Doncic to the Lakers back on Feb. 1 — was saying hi to some people who had shown up for the game a bit early.

The 52-year-old shook one person’s hand, and then as he turned to go back to Dallas’ locker room area — a Mavs backer yelled that he should be canned.

But, according to one Reddit user who claimed to have seen the whole incident, stadium security confronted the fan a short time later. It’s not clear if the guy — who was wearing a No. 77 Doncic Mavericks jersey — was removed from the venue over the altercation, though the officials didn’t seem pleased with him, to say the least.

Harrison’s Mavs, meanwhile, continued to struggle without Doncic — they lost to Brooklyn, 113-109. They’re now 37-39 in the year.

Brett Gardner‘s 14-year-old son Miller may have died from carbon monoxide poisoning, Costa Rica’s Judicial Investigation Agency (OIJ) announced Monday.

OIJ Director Rándall Zúñiga revealed via a press briefing high levels of carbon monoxide were detected in the Gardner family’s hotel room at the Arenas Del Mar Beachfront & Rainforest Resort in Manuel Antonio.

Zúñiga also noted in his native Spanish language that the family’s room was located next to “a specialized machine room” which may have caused the contamination … leading Miller to inhale a fatal amount of “these highly dangerous gases.”

Miller died in his sleep on March 19 after he and other members of his family had fallen ill. At first, officials thought he might have died from asphyxia because his body was found with vomit on it.

When that was ruled out, investigators suggested he may have had a severe case of food poisoning.

The OIJ has been working with the United States FBI to investigate Miller’s death. The investigation is still open as officials wait for the final toxicology results. Therefore, no official cause of death has been confirmed.
