Another United States aircraft has crashed during the conflict with Iran … this according to a report from the New York Times.
NYT — citing two officials who spoke on the condition of anonymity — reports that another plane went down in the Persian Gulf Friday.
The plane — an A-10 Warthog attack plane — crashed near the Strait of Hormuz around the same time an Air Force F-15E was shot down over Iran.
The lone pilot of the A-10 Warthog has been safely rescued, the Times reports.
Iran state media celebrated taking down the first plane earlier in the day … sharing photos of the debris — and offering a “precious prize” to anyone who would hand the pilots over to Iranian police.
