Team USA skater Maxim Naumov is opening up on losing both of his parents in the devastating plane crash over the Potomac River in January … revealing they changed flights at the last minute.

The 23-year-old opened up on the tragedy that took the lives of 28 skaters, coaches and family members — including his mom and dad, Evgenia and Vadim Naumov — in an interview with “TODAY” … and he said one of the last interactions he had with his mother was to inform him they made a change in their travel plans coming back from the 2025 U.S. Figure Skating Championships in Wichita.

“My mom let me know that they’re switching flights and that if I could pick them up,” he said. “My mom always texts me and calls me as soon as they land.”

The American Airlines flight they boarded ultimately collided with a military aircraft close to Reagan National Airport … and 67 people died.

In a heartbreaking reveal, Naumov — who left Wichita days earlier — explained the last thing his mother told him is that his parents loved him and were proud of him … which he said “means everything” to him.

Naumov’s parents were coaches at the Skating Club of Boston … and had success on the ice in their own right — they were world champions and competed at the Olympics.

Naumov paid tribute to his parents in an emotional performance at the “Legacy on Ice” charity event in Washington D.C. earlier this month … which ended with him falling to his knees and crying.

Naumov said his mom and dad were “like superheroes to me” … but he will now carry the same passion and dedication they had with him moving forward.

Pete Davidson had quite the reaction when asked about his brief relationship with Kim Kardashian — and it’s one that will likely rub KK the wrong way.

Pete joined fellow comedian Luenell and host John Mulaney on Thursday’s episode of “Everybody’s Live with John Mulaney” when the topic of Davidson’s many lovers surfaced during their discussion. Luenell drilled down a bit on Pete’s past babes and his current girlfriend, Elsie Hewitt.

Will Smith is addressing his infamous Oscars slap — and all the baggage that came with it — head-on on his new album.

Smith’s album “Based on a True Story” dropped on Friday — his first full-length solo project in 20 years, and it immediately confronts the fallout from slapping Chris Rock.

The album’s opening song, “Int. Barbershop – Day” — featuring DJ Jazzy Jeff and B. Simone — kicks off with the line, “Will Smith is canceled.”

The Chris Rock slap then becomes the main focus: “I heard he down bad / I heard he won the Oscar but had to give it back / And you know they only made him do that s*** because he’s Black.”

Worth noting … Smith did not have to return his Oscar. You’ll recall, the Academy banned him from attending the ceremony for 10 years.

The song then nods to Will’s infamous outburst defending Jada Pinkett Smith — “You wish you had a Jada Pinkett next to you / Him and Jada both crazy – girl, what you talking ’bout / You better keep his wife’s name out of your mouth.”

Smith isn’t done reflecting on the 2022 incident … in the song “You Lookin’ for Me?” he raps about making his comeback — “Took a lot I’m back on top / Y’all gon’ have to get acclimated / Won’t stop my s*** still hot / Even though I won’t get nominated.”
