Val Kilmer‘s ex-wife Joanne Whalley and daughter Mercedes Kilmer were spotted for the first time since his death, sharing a heartfelt hug in an emotional moment.

Check out the pics TMZ got … Joanne looked utterly heartbroken as she consoled her equally devastated daughter outside her home Wednesday.

Mercedes had her hands full with bags, looking like she was in the middle of moving stuff into her car when she and her mom shared the moment.

As you know, Mercedes confirmed her dad’s passing to The New York Times yesterday, sharing that he died after a battle with pneumonia.

Kilmer had health woes for years — he was hospitalized with throat cancer in 2015, and while he eventually went into remission, the disease permanently damaged his voice.

TMZ also learned his health took a serious turn for the worse in his final years, leaving him bedridden for years before his death.

Since his health had been declining for a while, we’re told his death didn’t come as a surprise, with his kids and family by his bedside in his final days.

The “Dark Knight” star showed up Wednesday to CinemaCon at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas wearing Schiaparelli’s new tie … which looks like braided hair.

Maggie busted out a brunette version of the nearly $2,300 accessory … matching her natural hair and pairing it with a suit.

The fashion house released the braided hair necktie at a 2024 fashion show … and it’s actually made from brass and nylon … no human hair involved, despite the outward appearance.

Mark Ronson went from the DJ booth to a hospital bed … and it sounds like he was trying to do way too much.

The producer/DJ just posted a photo of himself in the hospital, explaining how some heavy lifting during a DJ set resulted in him needing medical attention.

Mark says he was in the middle of a mix when he tried to turn the stage monitor towards the crowd to “give them some extra juice.” Problem is, Mark says the stage monitor weighed way more than he thought and he ended up popping two tendons in his bicep.

Mark is hoping some laughter eases the pain, ending his post with some light-hearted humor, writing … “Here we are, baby! #tornthisway”

Despite the painful muscle injury, Mark says he finished his set before seeking medical attention.
