Personal injury lawyer Thomas J. Henry proved he throws a party like nobody else … dropping a TON of money to hire Ricky Martin for a secret performance at his engagement celebration … TMZ has learned.
Sources familiar with the party tell TMZ … the powerhouse personal injury attorney brought in Ricky for a 45-minute private concert Saturday night at the Fairmont El San Juan Hotel in Puerto Rico, where Thomas celebrated his engagement to Dr. Elena Alvarez Westwood.
We’re told 500 guests — including Marc Anthony — had no clue Ricky was going to hit the stage. Our sources say the party absolutely exploded when Ricky launched into his hits.
A massive scaffolding went up on the property ahead of the event. Even the staff working the bash weren’t spared the glam … they were all custom-measured for tailored outfits specifically for the night.
TMZ obtained a note slipped under hotel guests’ doors from Thomas and Elena ahead of the big party, alerting them that a large projection would be displayed on the side of the building and asking them to keep all curtains closed from 6 PM to 2:30 AM to help create the magical moment for the philanthropic couple.

We’re told the couple gifted every hotel room Montadero Chocolate and Don Q Gran Reserva Añejo Rum. Our sources say a 20-minute late-night firework show sparked some complaints, but things were smoothed over by wiping several extra charges from guests’ bills.
We broke the story … Thomas spent $1.5 million to have Pitbull and Nick Jonas perform at the quinceañera for his daughter Maya Henry, who famously dated Liam Payne, back in 2016.

Dancers Drop Fat-Shaming Legal Fight

Lizzo just scored a win in her legal battle against 3 former backup dancers … the women have dropped their claims that Lizzo fat-shamed them, despite the rest of the case moving forward … TMZ has learned.
Lizzo’s powerhouse attorney, Marty Singer, and his partner, Melissa Y. Glass, tell TMZ the fat-shaming claims were a major part of the sexual harassment lawsuit brought by Arianna Davis, Noelle Rodriguez, and Crystal Williams, but they insist it always lacked merit.
According to Lizzo’s attorneys, the allegations were refuted by 18 witnesses in sworn declarations submitted to the court.
They say the Superior Court judge concluded Davis was fired because she made “an unauthorized recording of Lizzo in a dancer meeting and sent it to Williams, who was no longer working on The Special Tour” … and now the dancers dropped their appeal of the dismissal of the fat-shaming claims.
The fat-shaming claims are just one of many that they brought against the artist.
You’ll recall … back in 2023, Arianna, Noelle and Crystal claimed Lizzo subjected them to nude entertainment shows in Amsterdam and Paris on tour, which they said they were clearly uncomfortable with.
In the docs, the women say Lizzo pressured dancers to interact with sex performers at Bananenbar in Amsterdam, where patrons are known to eat bananas out of the performers’ vaginas. Lizzo denies the claims.
While the more serious claims are still being disputed in court, Lizzo’s team says they remain “confident she will prevail in the case.”
But the dancers’ attorney, Ronald Zambrano, told TMZ, “We are maintaining that Judge Epstein was correct in his ruling denying Lizzo’s special motion to strike the vast majority of claims they attacked, including false imprisonment and harassment. Of the couple of claims Judge Epstein did dismiss, the plaintiffs have taken a considered approach to leave that be. One would hope to see the same level of intellectual honesty and neutral assessment from the defendants, but that hasn’t been the case thus far and it’s disappointing.”
