The family of Michael Virgil — the man who died on a Royal Caribbean Cruise last year after trying to beat down a door onboard — are suing the company they believe is responsible … in part, for giving him too much alcohol.

In court papers, obtained by TMZ … Michael’s fiancée, Connie Aguilar, is going after one of the world’s largest cruise line companies for allegedly serving him “at least 33 alcoholic beverages” before his untimely death.

According to the lawsuit, when Michael and Connie boarded the ship with their 7-year-old son, they found out their room wasn’t ready. The suit claims they were then directed to a bar area while they waited, but after a long period of time, their son — who has autism — grew impatient. To calm their young child, Connie took him to check on the cabin’s status, leaving Michael at the bar.

According to the docs, Michael fell victim to “the excessive force and fatal actions taken by crew members including security and medical personnel” who “administered an injection of a sedative medication, Haloperidol, and used multiple cans of pepper spray.”

The filing alleges those actions caused “significant hypoxia and impaired ventilation, respiratory failure, cardiovascular instability and ultimately cardiopulmonary arrest, leading to his death which has been ruled a homicide.”

The lawsuit seeks damages including loss of support, inheritance, past and future earnings and net accumulations, funeral and medical expenses, mental pain and suffering, and more.

At the time, Royal Caribbean released a statement, saying they are saddened by Michael’s death — and that they were offering support to his family and authorities.

Dame Judi Dench is all about forgiveness when it comes to her friend Harvey Weinstein … and she thinks we should cut the disgraced producer some slack. He completely agrees!

Here’s the deal … the Oscar-winning actress raised eyebrows in a recent interview, saying HW has done his time after sex crime convictions during the #MeToo movement.

Harvey, through his rep, tells TMZ … he has profound respect for Dench, adding … “She is an extraordinary person who played an important role in my career.”

While she was outspoken against him when the reports of sexual assault first came out, now his apparent declining health seems to have really appealed to Judi’s sympathetic heart in an interview with Radio Times.

She told the publication, “I saw a bit of film of Harvey walking with two sticks, and you think, ‘Well…'”

She continued … “I imagine he’s done his time … I don’t know, to me it’s personal — forgiveness.”

Harvey told us, following Dench’s remarks … “I’ve now spent more than six and a half years incarcerated, including a year and a half in Rikers, which could be considered double time. I am here for something I did not do, and many of the claims that have been written about me are gradually being shown to be untrue or unsupported. I am grateful for the kind words that have been expressed, and all I want is the chance to return to my family and children.”

The actress also seemed to add Kevin Spacey‘s name to the list of those in need of public forgiveness.

“Kevin has been exonerated, and I hear from Kevin, we text,” Judi said.

The Oscar-winning actor reportedly provided comfort to Judi when her husband passed in 2001.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson‘s dining room table just got a little more crowded this holiday season … as his daughter, Simone (AKA Ava), just went official with her girlfriend — NXT wrestler Tatyanna Dumas!

The couple shared a heartwarming Instagram Reel on their respective accounts on Sunday … featuring a bunch of PDA and joint adventures they’ve had together.

“Crying screaming throwing up,” Johnson wrote. “I am so lucky.”

Simone — who was signed to WWE under the ring name Ava — joined the company back in February 2020 … now serving as the General Manager for the NXT brand.

Dumas teamed up with WWE earlier this year, making her on-screen debut during the company’s “WWE LFG” show.
