Rapper BigXthaPlug Arrested for Allegedly Driving While Intoxicated

BigXthaPlug found himself back in jail Friday … after he was caught allegedly driving while intoxicated and posessing some marijuana.

Online jail records show the Dallas-based rapper was booked into the Collin County Jail in Texas on Friday by the Allen Police Department. He was charged with driving while intoxicated, marijuana possession of less than 2 ounces, and unlawful possession of a firearm.

The arrest occured after BigX — real name Xavier Darnell Landum — missed his apparearance at the Country Rising Festival in Canada … with organizers blaming a “personal emergency” for his absence.

TMZ has reached out to his rep … so far, no word back.

Coincidentally, BigX was arrested exactly one year prior in Dallas after cops say they found a firearm and marijuana in his vehicle during a traffic stop.

That arrest came on the same day his rap-country hybrid album, “I Hope You’re Happy,” dropped.

He was also taken to the clink in February 2025 after he was caught with marijuana in his vehicle.
