Randy Fine plans telephone town hall ahead of State of the Union

The Atlantic Coast Republican is talking to his constituents.

One of President Donald Trump’s strongest supporters will preview Monday’s State of the Union address on the phone with whoever calls in.

U.S. Rep. Randy Fine will also discuss “what House Republicans are doing to advance the America First agenda,” per a release from his office.

“I look forward to discussing the upcoming State of the Union Address with my constituents and giving them the chance to hear my thoughts and ask questions directly to me. This telephone town hall will provide a platform to engage with the people I’m proud to represent,” the Republican from the 6th Congressional District said.

The call will take place Monday, February 23 at 5:00 p.m. (ET) The dial-in number to join the call is (833) 946-1538.

Fine, elected in a Special Election last year, continues to make news as a member of Congress, including by filing his Protecting Puppies from Sharia Act.

“In America, we will not allow anyone to tell us that we cannot have dogs. My bill protects Americans’ right to own a dog and would not allow federal funding to be given to any state or local government that bans them as Haram. There are 57 countries that are Sharia compliant; the United States will not be the 58th,” Fine said upon filing the bill.
