Their market suggests only a 12.5% (+700) chance of a public reconciliation before the end of 2027, compared to an 87.5% (-700) likelihood that no reunion will occur in that timeframe. These numbers underscore just how unlikely a thaw in relations appears, especially after what Harrold describes as Harry’s “last chance” to demonstrate a willingness to make amends. Instead, he believes that opportunity has been “sadly wasted,” further complicating any future attempt at healing.
What it may take for the family to reunite
Harrold stresses that only something truly significant could change the current trajectory. In his view, it would likely require a major health‑related event or a situation directly involving the King to bring the family together in any meaningful way. As of today, he sees no other scenario that could realistically prompt a reunion.
