Primark is planning a major store opening in France, with the fashion/lifestyle retail giant taking a 110,000 sq ft redeveloped space at Hammerson-operated Les 3 Fontaines mall in Cergy.

Completion of the works on the redevelopment, not due until 2027, will be the final phase of repositioning at Les 3 Fontaines.
According to the UK-based property giant, Primark “was the brand most requested by customers” and will add to the 200 brands already at Les 3 Fontaines. Major retailers include Sephora, Adidas, Mango, Footlocker, and Zara.
Hammerson said other major retail signings are also expected to join a line-up of recently-agreed brands including Jack and Jones.
Les 3 Fontaines is the region’s leading urban shopping destination and Hammerson said the expansion “will drive significant footfall and increase the already strong catchment, with annual footfall of over 12 million (up 6% in 2024) and a population reach of more than 10 million. Sales were up 3% in 2024 “and strong momentum continues in 2025”, it noted.
Aymeric Metais, director of France at Hammerson, said: “This is a major new milestone for Les 3 Fontaines adds another 10% of lettable space, grows our income and offers a new and exciting offer for customers while boosting our footfall and customer reach.”
