Police Search Nick Reiner’s Hotel Room for Murder Weapon

An LAPD Robbery-Homicide detective showed up at the hotel where Nick Reiner was staying … looking for a weapon, blood, and other evidence connected to the murders of Rob and Michele Reiner … TMZ has learned.
A law enforcement source, along with two other people with direct knowledge, tell TMZ … a Robbery-Homicide detective showed up at The Pierside Santa Monica hotel Monday around 1 AM, telling the front desk clerk he was there to do a welfare check on Nick Reiner, who was staying in room 207.
We’re told the detective said he was concerned Nick may have disposed of a weapon connected to a violent crime. The detective also said he believed Nick may have “cleaned up” and “disposed of evidence.” We’re told hotel staff took the detective up to room 207, where he searched the room.
TMZ broke the story … a housekeeper cleaned up Nick’s room late Sunday morning, where she discovered blood in the shower as well as blood on the bedsheets.
We also have more details about Nick’s check-in … as we reported, when he checked in at 4:15 AM Sunday, a hotel staffer believed he was “tweaked out.” We’re now told that staffer believed Nick was high on some sort of stimulant. Our sources say at the time Nick checked in, he bought 4 Heineken beers and a bottle of water that were inside the hotel lobby shop. We’re told the beers were nonalcoholic, but it’s unclear if Nick knew that.
Our sources tell us room 207 was immediately sealed off by LAPD, and now we’re told the entire second floor has been sealed as the investigation continues.
As we reported, Nick has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder with special circumstances.
Calories don’t take days off, and neither does Ana de Armas … she was snapped with her waist looking snatched while heading to a gym Friday in Los Angeles.

‘Most Trusted Man in America’ Chopped It Up With Epstein

Walter Cronkite, who was once regarded as “the most trusted man in America” when he was anchoring the evening news on CBS, is pictured with Jeffrey Epstein in new photos released by the feds.
The photos show the legendary newsman — who anchored such historical events as the JFK assassination and moon landing — sitting in a room with Epstein and an unidentified man. Walter is leaning forward in an armchair, talking with Epstein and the other guy, who is seated on a couch.
In between the men is a tray of food and drink and a bunch of magazines spread out across some ottomans.
There is nothing risqué or questionable going on … and no one else is in the photos.
CBS News claims the photos appear to be from 2007, when Walter was 90, a couple years before his death.
If the photo is indeed from 2007, that’s significant … because it was in 2008 when Epstein pleaded guilty to state charges of solicitation of prostitution and of solicitation of prostitution with a minor under the age of 18. Obviously, there is nothing to suggest Cronkite had any knowledge of Epstein’s crimes.
The DOJ released a bunch of Epstein Files documents Friday, and famous faces we’ve seen so far include Bill Clinton, Kevin Spacey, Michael Jackson, and Diana Ross.
Bombshells will likely be cropping up for days after a massive dump of Epstein Files began to be released Friday … and now we have some high-profile names never-before associated with the disgraced financier.
In a new pic released by the U.S. Department of Justice … Michael Jackson and Diana Ross are pictured on a plane with Bill Clinton and another person whose face is redacted.
It’s not known whose plane they were on or where they were going.
While Diana and Bill flash smiles, Michael stares blankly with Bill’s hand draped over the King Of Pop’s shoulder.
As you know … Michael Jackson was embattled by accusations of child molestation before he died in 2009.
Previously, we’ve reported on images showing former President Clinton in a hot tub with an unknown female and Jeffrey Epstein cozying up to a young female on a sofa.
TMZ is digging through the thousands of documents released Friday … and the ones we’ve seen so far may just be the tip of the iceberg.
