The Buffalo Bills are starting fresh next season — they just fired head coach Sean McDermott.

The move comes fresh off the Bills’ loss to the Broncos on Saturday — a nail-biting overtime thriller that ended with Denver punching its ticket to the AFC Championship Game.

McDermott posted a 98-50 record on the Bills’ sidelines since 2017 … and went 8-8 in the postseason.

After all, many felt this was Josh Allen and Co.’s year to win the Super Bowl — or at least get to it — with Patrick Mahomes‘ Chiefs, Joe Burrow‘s Bengals, and Lamar Jackson‘s Ravens all watching from home.

The Bills made the postseason all but one (2018) under McDermott.

The question is — who do the Bills go to next?? John Harbaugh — the top name in the 2026 coaching carousel — joined the New York Giants over the weekend … and Kevin Stefanski went to the Atlanta Falcons.

Three shark attacks have rocked Sydney, Australia, in a 24-hour period … leaving one boy fighting for his life after losing both his legs to the jaws of one of the ocean predators, and a man in critical condition after his leg was bitten in the water.

The boy was attacked after jumping off a rock ledge into the ocean near Sydney Sunday … after the 12-year-old boy was bitten, some of his friends jumped in after him and swam him back to shore.

Then on Monday, an 11-year-old surfer narrowly missed serious injury when a shark took a giant bite out of his surfboard.

But later Monday, a surfer in his 20s was critically injured when a shark bit one of his legs, News Corp Australia reports. Rescuers performed first-aid on the beach before he was hospitalized.

The 11-year-old boy had been thrown off his own surfboard when a shark chomped on it multiple times, taking out a chunk of it.

The U.S. Sun reports the boy’s father rescued him after hearing his screams for help.

Donald Trump‘s haters are absolutely thriving right now … Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong has been outspoken about his disdain for the present administration … and the band has just been tapped to open the Super Bowl!

The punk rock band — which hails from Rodeo, California, in the Bay Area — will kick off Super Bowl LV at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, February 8.

Billie Joe released a statement … “We are super hyped to open Super Bowl 60 right in our backyard! We are honored to welcome the MVPs who’ve shaped the game and open the night for fans all over the world. Let’s have fun! Let’s get loud!”

This comes after the singer led a crowd at Download Festival last summer in a chant calling Trump a “fat bastard.”

Remember … Trump had a lot to say about Bad Bunny — another known Trump critic — headlining this year’s Super Bowl Halftime Show, calling the decision “absolutely ridiculous.”

He complained … “I’ve never heard of him. I don’t know who he is,” in an interview with Newsmax’s Greg Kelly in October.
