The Miu Miu Spring/Summer 2027 collection, presented in Paris as usual at the Palais d’Iéna, brought together sportswear, tailoring and irreverent glamour, all signed by Miuccia Prada.
On the catwalk, a wardrobe built on striking contrasts took shape, where men’s jackets, Prince of Wales check blazers and tartan skirts mingled with gym shorts, cut-out leather and sequins.
The new collection also included the Miu Miu Upcycled line, created in collaboration with Wrangler: pieces reworked from heritage denim. Original examples of archetypal late-20th-century jeans styles, selected by vintage specialists, were transformed with the collection’s signature cross-laced detailing. It reflected Miu Miu’s ongoing commitment to circular design.
In the fifth year of their collaboration, New Balance and Miu Miu unveiled on the runway a reimagining of the RC150 running shoe, its name a nod to its ultra-light 150-gram design. Deconstructed in technical mesh, the style featured contrasting laces, softly knotted at the ankle through external loops, in a colour palette that combined sophisticated, elegant nuances with vivid, eye-catching tones.
An outstanding cast took to the runway, featuring stars and actors including Jamie Bell, Olivia Colman, Emma Corrin, Hortense de Gromard, Gigi Hadid, Louisa Jacobson, Noah Jupe, Donkey Kid, Chandler Kinney, Igby Rigney, Bunny Rogers, Emi Thasorn, Ella Bleu Travolta, Katherine Waterston and Liu Wen.
