Michael Carbonara signs Moms for Liberty Parent Pledge in CD 25 race

Republican congressional candidate Michael Carbonara has signed the Moms for Liberty Parent Pledge. He joins other candidates and officials who have promised to defend parental rights in education and healthcare.

The pledge aims to highlight candidates who support parents’ roles in their children’s lives and promise to defend parental rights in education, healthcare, and moral guidance.

“Every mother, every father, deserves a seat at the table when it comes to their child’s education,” said Carbonara, who is also a father. “I signed because parental rights are not negotiable.”

After signing, Carbonara recorded a podcast with Catalina Stubbe, outreach director for Moms for Liberty. They talked about American education and said it is urgent to restore parental authority in schools.

“We are proud to see Michael Carbonara take this step,” Stubbe said. “Signing this pledge is a meaningful commitment to the families in South Florida. Children deserve representatives who understand that parents are not the problem in education; they are the solution.”

Carbonara, a lifelong entrepreneur, is running on a platform that focuses on parental rights, economic growth, and limited government. He says his business experience will help him serve in Congress and offer South Florida families an alternative to the current CD 25 Congresswoman, Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz.

Moms for Liberty, founded in 2021, says it is a non-partisan nonprofit with chapters across the country. The group focuses on parental rights, school transparency, and family-centered education policy.
