Figure skater Maxim Naumov made his dream come true when he made the U.S. Olympic team Sunday … but the accomplishment was bittersweet, as it came one year after losing his parents to a catastrophic plane crash.

Naumov grew up following in his parents’ footsteps … Vadim Naumov and Evgenia Shishkova, competed for Russia, becoming world champions in pairs figure skating in 1994.

Wanting the best for their son, they shared advice and talked to him about what it would take for him to join them in Olympic glory while supporting him last year at the 2025 U.S. championships in Wichita, Kansas.

But on the way home, Vadim and Evgenia’s flight reportedly collided with a military helicopter over the Potomac River, which killed 67 people … many of them connected to U.S. figure skating.

Naumov told U.S. Figure Skating Sunday, “I thought of them immediately. I wish they could be here to experience it with me, but I do feel their presence, and they are with me.”

The 24-year-old athlete was reportedly one of 16 skaters selected for the team.

Blake Shelton says there’s a lot of BS online about him and wife Gwen Stefani … but he admits some of it looks so real, it could almost fool him.

The “God’s Country” singer co-hosted “Country Countdown USA” Saturday, where he responded to rumors that he and Gwen were going their separate ways.

He recalled, “I started noticing these articles popping up about ‘Blake and Gwen, they’re split up. They’re not even seeing each other anymore, they’re going through a divorce.’ And then, a week later, a picture comes out of us walking out of the grocery store … ‘Oh, they’re back together again!’ ”

This comes after the country artist and the “Hollaback Girl” singer shared a steamy NYE kiss in a video posted on Gwen’s Instagram account over the holiday.

As you know … the couple met on the set of “The Voice” in 2014 and started dating the following year.

Hailey Bieber really needs everybody to just go outside and touch some grass … She’s once again shooting down rumors of marriage trouble from fans who she suggested are online too much.

This time, it started when TikTok users claimed Hailey reposted a video analyzing celebrity couples in allegedly “abusive” relationships.

Some fans shared screenshots they said proved Hailey reposted the video, which called her out for “tolerating mediocrity” and “abuse” from her husband, Justin Bieber.

She wrote, “Hey! I know you guys who live on the internet are really bored, but I didn’t repost any video speaking on my relationship. Have a beautiful Saturday!”

Hailey and Justin tied the knot in 2018 and welcomed son, Jack Blues, in 2024.

In a Vogue interview earlier this year, Hailey admitted she thought that after 7 years together, the chatter about them would die down, but it clearly hasn’t.

She said, “You would think after having a child, people would maybe move on, chill out a little bit, but no.”
