A man in Massachusetts has been arrested after allegedly making threatening remarks toward President Donald Trump on Facebook … the Department of Justice announced Wednesday.
Andrew D. Emerald — a 45-year-old man from Great Barrington, MA was indicted by a federal grand jury on eight counts of interstate transmission of threatening communications.
According to authorities … from May to July 2025 Emerald “intentionally made eight separate Facebook posts in which he threatened to injure President Trump.”
These posts Emerald allegedly shared contain messages like “When I see to it that Trump is put to death. It will be the the day the purpose creation put me here for beyond creating” and “Trump either you’re dead by 2026 or I’m coming for you personally and if I’m the one that kills you, you’re gonna suffer you little f****** b****.”
Cops took Emerald into custody Wednesday morning … and, they also shared photos of items they say they found while raiding Emerald’s home — including numerous swords and other blades.
Emerald isn’t the first person to allegedly threaten a member of the Trump administration’s life … 22-year-old Marco Antonio Aguayo was arrested in January for allegedly threatening to blow up Disneyland while Vice President J.D. Vance visited the park last summer.
And, of course, President Trump survived an assassination attempt back in July 2024 … and his Secret Service detail thwarted another alleged attempt a few months later.
