Magic Open 2026‑27 Season at Home
The National Basketball Association released its 2026‑27 schedule and announced that the Orlando Magic will open the season on Wednesday, October 21 at Kia Center against Atlanta. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. as Orlando begins its push toward another postseason run.
Single‑game tickets for the season go on sale Friday, August 14 at 1 p.m. Fans can purchase seats at OrlandoMagic.com/tickets, at the Kia Center box office on Church Street, or through Ticketmaster. National Television Lineup
Orlando will appear eight times on national television this season. The schedule includes one game on NBC and Peacock on March 30 against New York, two games on ESPN and ESPN App on March 10 at Miami and March 28 against New York, four games on Peacock and NBC Sports Network on November 16 at Boston, December 14 against Philadelphia, March 22 against Indiana and April 5 at Miami, and one game on Amazon Prime on March 13 at Atlanta.
Two preseason games will also be televised nationally. Orlando visits Cleveland on October 11 on ESPN and ESPN App, with the start time adjusted to 6:30 p.m. The Magic then host Cleveland on October 13 on Peacock and NBC Sports Network.
New Over‑the‑Air Broadcast Partner
Cox Media Group becomes Orlando’s new over‑the‑air broadcast partner for the 2026‑27 season. All regular season games, except national exclusives, will air on WRDQ TV 27, with select games also appearing on WFTV Channel 9. Broadcasts will be available throughout the Magic’s regional territory, with a full station lineup to be announced later. The team will also announce a direct‑to‑consumer streaming partner soon. Radio broadcasts will continue on the Orlando Magic Audio Network, anchored by FM 96.9 The Game.
Monthly Breakdown
Orlando will play five games in October, 14 in November, 12 in December not including Emirates NBA Cup Knockout Round games, 17 in January, 11 in February, 15 in March and six in April. The schedule includes 18 home games on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The Magic will navigate 14 back‑to‑back sets, including six away‑away, four home‑away and four home‑home pairings. The longest homestand spans six games from February 25 through March 9, while the longest road trip covers five games from March 10 through March 18.
Orlando’s home finale at Kia Center is scheduled for Friday, April 9 against Toronto at 7 p.m. The regular season concludes on Sunday, April 11 at Miami at 6 p.m.
Emirates NBA Cup 2026
The fourth edition of the NBA’s in‑season tournament begins Friday, October 30. Quarterfinals will be held December 4 and 5, followed by Semifinals on December 8 and 9 in team markets. The Championship will take place Friday, December 11 at Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
Group Play features four designated games per team, with matchups held on Cup Nights every Friday from October 30 through November 27, plus additional Cup Nights on November 24 and 25.
Orlando’s Group Play schedule includes October 30 at Toronto, November 13 against Milwaukee, November 20 at Brooklyn and November 24 against Detroit.
