I will be catching up with the grouping of Brooks Koepka and Danny Walker after I finish my coverage of Xander Schauffele’s back-9.

Brooks Koepka starts his day in T10 with his eyes set on a win. He has had back-to-back strong starts, finishing T9 at the Cognizant Classic and T13 at The Players Championship. With his strong start this week, it appears Koepka is reacclimating to life on the PGA Tour. If Koepka were to win this week, it would mean that he would be eligible for Signature events moving forward. It is one of 4 ways the Tour laid out for him to compete in Signature events under the Returning Member Program.

Danny Walker is looking to get his season headed in the right direction. He is currently ranked 224th in the Official World Golf Rankings. Walker has played in 7 events this year, making 4 cuts and missing 3. His best finish in 2026 has been a T38, so a finish inside the top-10 would be big for Walker early in this 2026 season.
