Dan Sileo Hits Tampa Bay Airwaves on WWBA 820 AM The Big 8 Every Weekday
Dan Sileo has returned to the Tampa airwaves as the host of a new two-hour late-morning sports talk show on Genesis Communications sports WWBA 820 AM, The Big 8. Sileo, a former defensive lineman for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, can be heard from 10:00 AM to 1 PM, anchoring a program heavily focused on the local sports landscape.

From the Gridiron to the Airwaves
Sileo brings a wealth of authentic, on-field experience to the microphone. He began his career as a defensive player for the Buccaneers, Dallas Cowboys, and Detroit Lions after playing college football for the top-ranked Miami Hurricanes during their legendary run in the 1980s.
Following his retirement from professional football, Sileo transitioned to the broadcast studio in the 1990s, launching his radio career as a sports talk host in San Francisco. He originally moved back to the Tampa market in 1998 as a morning host for WDAE (620). Throughout his veteran career, Sileo has built a national reputation with hosting stints in major markets including San Diego, Orlando, and Phoenix, alongside work with Fox Sports Radio and the USA Radio Network.
