British luxury designer brand Lalage Beaumont has just launched its handbags at key high-end London retailer Fortnum & Mason as part of its retail rollout programme.

Earlier this summer, the brand opened its newest boutique at the UK Pavilion within Boundless Matro Boutique in Suzhou, China. But its latest development is much closer to home and “marks a significant milestone for the brand as it brings its timeless designs and meticulous craftsmanship to one of the UK’s most historic and prestigious retail destinations,” we’re told.
Fortnum & Mason may be best known for its food offering, but it’s also a key store for gift items, niche beauty, homewares and accessories and it remains a major draw for tourists from both Britain and abroad.
The launch includes a curated selection of best-selling pieces in various colourways, including the structured Maya and Fonteyn top-handle handbags.
Visitors will be able to see the collection on the second floor of the historic store on piccadilly.
Lalage Beaumont has a strong presence already in London with boutiques in Knightsbridge, Burlington Arcade (just across the road from Fortnum & Mason and also a major tourist attraction) and Belgravia, along with stockists including upscale department stores and independent boutiques around the world.
Of the Fortnum’s debut, the brand’s namesake designer, Lalage Beaumont, said that “both our brands share a commitment to heritage, quality and exceptional customer service. It’s a perfect match, and we’re excited to bring our handbags to a wider audience who appreciate understated luxury.”
