Killer Mike Grammys Security Embarrassed Me … I Got Arrested for No Reason!!!
Published
Killer Mike is suing over last year’s arrest at the Grammys … and he’s laying the blame on the private security services hired to work the event.
In a new lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, the rapper says he was stopped by security on his way to the red carpet for photos and media interviews despite winning a bunch of awards and having all the necessary credentials to access the secured area.

Killer Mike says the two companies the Grammys hired to do security at the 2024 show — S&S Labor Force Inc. and JRM Private Security — gave their employees way too much power … which led to him being unlawfully placed under citizen’s arrest.
Mike says security physically assaulted and battered him by putting their hands on him and restraining him in full view of onlookers … with Mike saying they caused him emotional distress and public humiliation.
In the docs, Mike says he was unlawfully detained when security put him under citizen’s arrest under false pretenses … and he says it led to cops eventually arresting him and holding him in a nearby jail for hours, causing him to miss out on presenting a Grammy award for a huge TV audience.
Mike says the whole saga caused him unnecessary public embarrassment, distress and professional harm … and he’s going after the security companies for damages.
We reached out to the companies … so far, no word back.
Mathew Knowles is giving 100% of the credit to Beyoncé for her ‘Album of the Year’ win at the Grammys — saying it has nothing to do with Jay-Z‘s complaints last year about her not already having that gong on her mantel yet.
MK tells TMZ those criticizing Bey’s win and chalking it up to Jay-Z clearly don’t get how the Grammy voting process works — and then goes on to break the whole thing down for us.

Mathew — who’s been a voting member for 17 years and is on the Grammy board that picks the nominated albums — tells us they listen to thousands of songs, including full albums.
Then, they debate which albums should be nominated, and it’s up to the voting members to decide the winners.

So, Mathew makes it clear — Bey’s win was all about her album being the best body of work, not because of Jay-Z’s complaints last year about her breaking records but still missing out on the crème de la crème, Album of the Year.

Of course, last night was huge for Bey — she didn’t just snag AOTY, she also picked up Best Country Duo/Group Performance with Miley Cyrus, and made history as the first Black woman to win for a country album.
‘The Voice’ Ryan Whyte Maloney Custody Battle Weighed on Him … Fiancée Says

“The Voice” alum Ryan Whyte Maloney was locked in a custody battle with his ex-wife in the months leading up to his suicide … and the dispute was taking a toll on his mental health, at least according to his fiancée.
Ryan’s fiancée, Zana, tells TMZ … Ryan and his ex-wife were fighting over custody of their four children for the past eight months. Zana says Ryan wanted to split custody with his ex, but she wanted primary custody — and the back-and-forth was torturing him inside.
Zana says Ryan had a history of mental health struggles and was working on his issues before fatally shooting himself in Las Vegas.
TMZ broke the story … the police report from Ryan’s suicide says he shot himself after a heated argument with his fiancée while they were driving home. Cops said the couple was arguing about her jacket when he grabbed a gun from the glove box, hopped out of the car and pulled the trigger.
Ryan’s fiancée disputes the assertion in the police report that he called her a “bitch” in an argument beforehand … she’s adamant he never spoke to her that way, and says she told cops SHE felt like a bitch that she was there when he died, and couldn’t stop him.
Zana tells us she feels likes cops badgered her into making a statement. She says she didn’t want to talk to police and wanted time to collect herself and give her statement later … but she says cops said they wanted her to talk ASAP, and she gave in.
Zana says police misunderstood what she told them and took her words out of context. She says she asked Ryan if he had grabbed her jacket from the valet area of the New York-New York Hotel and Casino before they left … but there was no argument.
Shortly after Ryan performed, Zana says, something was clearly disturbing him … but she says he wouldn’t tell her what exactly was the matter.

Ryan’s fiancée says a celebration of life is planned for Wednesday night at Ole Red in Las Vegas, where his band will perform his songs with guest singers.
She says he wanted to be cremated so his ashes could be spread in a lake near his Traverse City, Michigan hometown.
Zana says she’s remembering Ryan for the positive influence he had on his fans … and she says whenever he walked into a room, everyone was excited by his presence and was eager to watch him perform.
She says he inspired and motivated folks to leave their comfort zones to reach their goals … and she says he was an amazing dad, son, brother, fiancé, friend, and musical savant.
